I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where my father has been racing and building Porsche’s for over 40 years, and my mother is a human resources manager for an automotive engineering company. One perfect midwestern day, I watched Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, and decided making sets for Hollywood films was what I wanted to do, and I never looked back. I studied Film at Columbia College of Chicago, graduated, and quickly decided I needed more specific career training. I continued with my film education at Chapman University where I got my hands on a master’s degree in Production Design. I started out getting my feet wet working in commercials, and within a few years found myself working in feature films and joining the Art Director's Guild. Some of my more recent works include The Politician (Netflix), Sorry For Your Loss (Facebook Watch) and Me & Earl & the Dying Girl. Presently, I live in the Eagle Rock neighborhood of Los Angeles and enjoy scouting for delicious food on the weekends.
